► What chain does the NK series sprocket use?
The NK80B / NK80-2B sprocket is designed for 25.400 mm pitch roller chain of Asian-standard origin (matching ANSI-derived dimensions). Always verify inner width and roller diameter when selecting chain.
► What is the difference between B Type Solid and B Type Weld?
B Type Solid has a machined hub bore (standard or finished to drawing). B Type Weld has a welded-on hub plate for applications where the sprocket must be welded to a shaft stub or disc.
► Are finished bore versions available?
Yes. Specify your shaft diameter and keyway dimensions at order. Finished bore lead time is 5–7 days from order confirmation.
► Can I get a material test certificate for the C45 steel?
Yes. EN 10204 2.2 chemical composition certificates are available on request. Contact us before ordering to arrange documentation.
► What is the maximum bore for each tooth count?
Maximum bore increases with tooth count. Contact our sales team with your tooth count and required bore diameter — we will confirm feasibility and maximum available bore.
- Verify bore size against shaft diameter; machine finished bore if required.
- Clean shaft and bore; apply light machine oil to ease assembly.
- Position sprocket and align within 0.5 mm lateral offset of the mating sprocket.
- Install roller chain and set slack-side tension to 2% of centre distance.
- Check all set-screws and key fit after initial 4-hour loaded operation.
