Some improvement measures on sprocket

 Due to the high frequency of use and daily wear and tear of the sprocket, the service life of the sprocket is still relatively short and cannot meet the requirements of production practice. We have proposed some improvement measures for this:

(1) Due to the limited hardness of the tooth quenching in the original method, the wear resistance of the sprocket cannot be improved basically.It is recommended to change the sprocket material from 40Cr to 20CrMnTi, and then carburize and quench, so that the wear resistance is more than 40 times that of 2.5Cr material.The service life of the sprocket has been greatly improved, the frequency of repairing the machine is correspondingly reduced, the productivity is improved, and the production cost is reduced;

(2) How to improve abrasion resistance?At present, CNC machine tools are widely used, and the processing cost is also decreasing. It is recommended to leave a little margin after forging, and finish the finishing by milling to improve the surface roughness and dimensional accuracy, so that the wear resistance is greatly improved.

   The above are the transformation measures for the sprocket we put forward based on the use status, processing status, and manufacturing technology of the sprocket.
