Key Product Features
Most Popular ISO Sprocket Size
12.7 mm pitch (1/2 inch) is the global standard for medium-duty chain drives, with the largest selection of chain types and complementary components readily available.
Induction-Hardened Teeth
HRC 50–60 surface hardness with ≤0.05 mm thermal deformation ensures 3× the wear life of untreated sprockets at comparable cost.
Complete Format Range
Available as finished bore, pilot bore, taper-sleeve (TS, TD, TT bush types), split taper bushing, and welded hub — every installation scenario covered.
Simplex, Duplex & Triplex
Single, double, and triple-strand options allow graduated torque capacity from light-duty (08B-1) to heavy industrial (08B-3) without changing sprocket diameter or chain pitch.
Compatibility & Chain Selection
The ISO 08B-1 sprocket is designed for DIN 8187 / ISO 606 08B-1 roller chain: pitch 12.7 mm, inner width 7.75 mm, roller Φ 8.51 mm. 08B-1 Finished Bore versions are pre-machined and ready to install on shafts from 16 mm to 75 mm (Z-dependent). Taper bush variants accept 1008/1210/1610/2012/2517 taper bushings. Cross-reference: visit our full ISO 08B sprocket catalogue.

Customer Reviews
Tom B. ★★★★★
Australia · February 2025
“Our grain-auger sprockets previously failed every harvest season. Switched to Ever-power 08B-1 — three seasons and counting with no issues. Outstanding.”
ISO 08B-1 Z=22 Finished Bore
Elisa C. ★★★★★
Spain · March 2025
“Duplex 08B-2 sprockets for our packaging line — installed and running at 450 rpm with zero vibration. Quality is on par with top European brands.”
ISO 08B-2 Z=19 Duplex
Sung-Jin K. ★★★★☆
South Korea · January 2025
“Good product. Tooth pitch measured precisely. Slight cosmetic inconsistency in hub finish but function is perfect.”
ISO 08B-1 Z=25
Mark T. ★★★★★
UK · April 2025
“We regularly import these for our conveyor refurbishment business. Consistent quality batch after batch, which is what we need for repeat supply.”

FAQ
► Is the ISO 08B-1 sprocket the same as the ANSI #40 sprocket?
They have the same 12.7 mm pitch, but the chain dimensions differ: ISO 08B has inner width 7.75 mm while ANSI #40 has 7.92 mm inner width. The sprockets are NOT interchangeable — always confirm the chain standard before ordering.
► What is the maximum bore for an 08B-1 Z=25 sprocket?
Typically 45–55 mm depending on hub style. Finished bore versions are custom-machined to your specification. Contact our team for maximum available bore for each tooth count.
► Do you offer duplex and triplex versions in all tooth counts?
Duplex (08B-2) is available Z=8–125. Triplex (08B-3) covers Z=8–76. Non-standard tooth counts outside the stock range require 7–14 days manufacturing.
► Can stainless steel 08B-1 sprockets be supplied?
Yes. SS304 stainless 08B sprockets are available for food processing and marine applications. Lead time is typically 2–3 weeks.
► What chain lubricant do you recommend for 08B-1 drives?
ISO VG 68–100 mineral oil for general use; ISO VG 46 for high-speed drives; NSF H1 food-grade oil for food processing applications. Re-lubricate every 200 hours or as indicated by operating conditions.
- Degrease shaft and bore; verify bore matches shaft tolerance (H7/k6 recommended).
- Install sprocket; for taper-sleeve types, torque bushing bolts to the specified value on the bushing label.
- Align driving and driven sprockets using a laser alignment tool or precision straight-edge — within 0.3 mm lateral offset.
- Thread the 08B chain and use a chain link to close — do not over-tension.
- Set slack-side sag to 2–3% of centre distance and re-check after the first 4 hours of load.
