ANSI #60 Sprocket

Der ANSI #60 sprocket (pitch 3/4″, 19.05 mm) is a core American-standard roller chain sprocket for industrial drives across conveyors, agricultural machinery, and manufacturing equipment. Manufactured from C45 carbon steel with CNC-hobbed, induction-hardened teeth (HRC 50–60), it delivers superior wear life and dimensional accuracy, solving premature tooth wear and chain-jumping issues in ANSI B29.1 compliant drive systems.

Key Features

1
ANSI B29.1 Compliant
Full conformance to ANSI B29.1 standard ensures interchangeability with any brand of #60 roller chain and drive components available in the Australian market.
2
Induction-Hardened Tooth Profile
Precision tooth-flank hardening to HRC 50–60 extends service intervals by 3× and eliminates the chain-skip failure mode that plagues soft-tooth sprockets.
3
Type A / B / C Hub Options
Three hub styles cover every mounting scenario — from weld-on platewheels (Type A) to deep double-hub engagement (Type C) for maximum torque transfer.
4
Ex-Stock Availability
Standard tooth counts stocked in Australia for same-week dispatch, minimising equipment downtime during emergency replacements.

Compatibility & Selection

Compatible with ANSI #60 roller chain to ANSI B29.1 standard (pitch 3/4″, roller Φ 0.469″). Also available in double-strand (#60-2) and triple-strand (#60-3) for higher power applications. Finished bore and taper bore options available — specify shaft diameter at order. Request a selection guide from our engineers.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

►  What chain does the ANSI #60 sprocket use?
The ANSI #60 sprocket uses ANSI B29.1 #60 roller chain with pitch 3/4″. Do not use with ISO metric chain of similar pitch without verifying roller diameter compatibility.
►  What is the difference between Type A, B and C sprockets?
Type A is a plain disc (no hub) for welding or bolting. Type B has a single boss on one side. Type C has bosses on both sides for maximum shaft engagement and torque capacity.
►  Are double and triple-strand versions available?
Yes. #60-2 (duplex) and #60-3 (triplex) are available for higher torque drives. Please specify strand count when ordering.
►  Can you supply with a specific finished bore?
Yes. Specify your shaft diameter and keyway dimensions at order. Standard lead time for finished bore is 5–7 days.
►  Do you stock these in Australia?
Selected tooth counts are stocked locally for 2–5 day delivery. Contact our sales team to confirm stock availability for your specific requirement.
  1. Match bore to shaft diameter (H7/k6 tolerance recommended for press-fit applications).
  2. Position sprocket on shaft; secure keyway and set-screw per hub marking torque spec.
  3. Align with driven sprocket using a straight-edge across tooth faces within 0.5 mm.
  4. Thread ANSI #60 roller chain; close with a half-link or connecting link and orientate the open end away from the direction of travel.
  5. Set sag on slack strand to 2–3% of centre distance; recheck after 4 hours of loaded operation.
